The role

As a Legal Engineer at Zeno, you’ll be at the frontline of AI adoption in the legal industry. You’ll work hands-on with clients—understanding their workflows, identifying pain points, and building tailored solutions that integrate AI into their daily operations. You’ll wear multiple hats: developer, problem solver, and strategic advisor, ensuring that clients maximize the value of our platform.

This is the perfect role for an engineer who thrives on impact—who enjoys writing code that solves real-world problems and seeing it used by professionals in the field.

What You’ll Work On

• Collaborate directly with legal teams to understand their challenges and tailor AI-powered tools to fit their needs.
• Build, customize, and integrate solutions that enhance legal workflows.
• Ensure seamless adoption of Zeno’s AI solutions, transforming how clients manage legal knowledge and documents.
• Visit client sites to deepen relationships, facilitate integrations, and drive AI adoption.

What We’re Looking For

• You’re passionate about applying AI to transform knowledge work, particularly in the legal industry.
• You love building and deploying applications that have an immediate, tangible impact on users.
• Skilled in either Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript, experience in FastAPI & Vue.js is a plus.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where challenges evolve quickly.
• You are either a native Dutch speaker or have at least a C-level proficiency

Bonus Points

• You have experience in working directly with customers, implementing solutions, gathering requirements, or delivering technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and an understanding of how they work.
