The role

As a Applied Legal Researcher and one of our foundational hires, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this transformation and our company. This is a chance to solve deeply challenging problems at the application layer of AI, and make a real, tangible impact for our users.

We are looking for a legal researcher with a strong understanding of how large firms and other organizations deliver professional services and execute complex legal and knowledge work tasks.

What you’ll focus on

• Develop and deliver subject-matter expertise to support AI research
• Work closely with our customers and technical founding team to ensure AI tools align with client workflows and address real needs, enabling seamless adoption
• Tackle unsolved AI problems to solve complex professional service tasks
• Prompt engineering and fine-tuning of large language models

What we’re looking for

• You have 2-5 years of experience at a mid to large size law firm
• You are either a native Dutch speaker or have at least a C-level proficiency
• You have the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams, communicating complex ideas clearly and engaging stakeholders at all levels
• You are comfortable working within a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where challenges and priorities evolve rapidly
• A genuine interest in exploring how AI can transform knowledge work, particularly in the legal sector
• Willingness and desire to do the work needed to improve our platform (e.g., evaluating hundreds of answers, breaking down thousands of documents in a detailed way)
